Revitalization Plan

The purpose of the Train Campaign is to raise funds for the revitalization of the Museum + Archives building.  The White Rock Museum + Archives Society, in partnership with the City of White Rock, will return the station building to its original architecture of the historic 1913 train station, while at the same time providing access to many more interactive displays and exhibits.  Watch here for more updates as we move forward with the project.  The project is expected to be complete in early 2011.

Benefits

  • Cultural draw on the waterfront
  • Clearly visible entranceway
  • Improved access from both the street and waterfront
  • Expanded gallery space
  • Public-use programming space
  • Improved storage conditions
  • Creation of a lasting legacy project for 2010 and beyond
